Tis’ the season for college students back home, and they’re bringing all their stuff home with them!
We love having our kids back home, but it’s an adjustment. The things come back less organized than they were when they left.
The kids aren’t just “coming home,” they are MOVING! If you keep that in mind and approach it systematically, you can keep things from spreading all over:
- Prepare a spot for the incoming items to land
- Gather the laundry and deal with that
- Move items that won’t be used until they move out again to a designated storage spot
- Redistribute what remains
Working from a single landing spot will keep the belongings from spreading randomly throughout the living spaces.Share this article!
