Give yourself a smaller goal, like Marie Kondo-ing your underwear, something where you can have some initial success.
I previously heard that it takes 21 days to change a habit, so I went looking for more information on that. It turns out that’s not necessarily the case. More important than the number of days is your level of commitment to the change of habit, your internal and external accountability for the habit, and the size of the change.
